Liz Rothschild trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic and worked at Derby Playhouse for several seasons, the Sherman Theatre and Theatr Clwyd. She has toured with Northern Studio Theatre Company, Riff-Raff Company and the young National Trust theatre company. For the past 14 years she has been directing a theatre company based in Swindon involving performers with learning disabilities - Partners Theatre Company for Reach Inclusive Arts. She has directed a series of site inspired community performances and founded and runs an inter-generational arts project in Oxfordshire called Bridging the Gap. She often works through a devised process developing a script with a group of performers. This is her first piece of writing for a performance of this kind. |
